It is with deep sorrow and profound sympathy that we share the passing of Parker Alan Payne of Cynthiana, Indiana. Parker, only 19 years old, passed away on November 21, 2025, leaving his family, friends, and community heartbroken by a loss that came far too soon. His passing marks the departure of a young man whose vibrant spirit, warm personality, and love for life left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A proud graduate of New Tech Institute, Parker was remembered by many as someone who embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and a determined spirit. He was known not only for his intelligence and curiosity, but for the kindness and openness he brought to his interactions with others. Whether he was learning something new, lending a hand, or sharing moments with friends, Parker carried with him an authenticity that made him deeply cherished.
Outside of school, Parker’s interests and hobbies reflected who he was at his core—a young man who found joy in simple, meaningful experiences. He loved working on trucks, an activity that allowed him to express both creativity and skill. Cooking was another passion of his, one he shared generously with family and friends. And perhaps most treasured were the times he spent fishing, enjoying quiet moments outdoors with the people he loved. These were the activities that brought Parker peace, fulfillment, and connection—memories that his loved ones will hold close forever.
Parker’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew him, especially his mother, Andrea, and his extended family, who loved him deeply. Their grief is immense, but so too is the love, pride, and gratitude they feel for the time they were blessed to share with him. His absence will be felt each day, yet his memory will continue to shine through the stories, laughter, and moments he leaves behind.
A Mass of the Resurrection to honor Parker’s life will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on November 26, 2025, followed by burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. These services will offer family and friends a space to remember Parker, celebrate his life, and support one another through this time of profound sorrow.
We ask the community to keep Parker’s loved ones in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate the difficult days ahead. May they find comfort in the memories of his joyful spirit and in the knowledge that his life touched many.
May Parker Alan Payne rest in peace, forever remembered and forever loved.
